DBA 2016 5 days Meditation Program

E-mail Print

The Dallas Buddhist Association 5th annual 5-day meditation program was another great success! It couldn’t be possible without everyone’s participation and hard work! It's so nice to reunion with returning meditators and get to know all new meditators. We've all learned a lot and really enjoyed the program. The best way to express our gratitude towards Sister Christine and Sister Connie for their teachings is to take their sincere advice into consideration and keep up the good work by trying hard to meditate from now on. Through perseverance comes beneficial results. For example, start with 15 minutes a day and then gradually increase session time length. We’ve been so busy all the time taking care of so many things, our schools, jobs, families etc. Let’s be truly kind to ourselves and people around us by taking care of our minds.

We want to wake up, wake up! We want to wake up, WAKE UP!!! (Sister Christine's new catchphrases)

DBA holds 5-day meditation program every year during long Memorial weekend. It always starts on Thursday and concludes on Monday.  We are looking forward to seeing you again in the future!
